Ocean Park is on everyone’s Hong Kong itinerary—and for good reason. Since launching in 1977, this crowd-puller boasts hectares of thrilling rides, top-notch shows and animal explorations. Adventures in Australia will take you on a journey to the Australian outback while Shark Mystique will introduce you to over a hundred exceptional shark species. There are some stomach-churning rides too, including the winter-themed roller coaster, Arctic Blast. The Hair Raiser and the Crazy Galleon pirate ship are among other rides that test the laws of gravity, while Balloons Up-Up-And-Away is gentler on the heart. If you’d like a break from the action, take a charming nature walk at Emerald Trail or explore Old Hong Kong aboard a heritage tram.
